Revisionism: Black History in USA

Postby rerevisionist » 31 Aug 2011 15:05

Some book reviews, partly to show the spreading tentacles of Internet, partly to show revisionism in black history, which I'm counting here as blacks in the USA (by convention this includes half-castes etc), and Jews. Tony Martin seems to have single-handedly sparked much of this. I've included a couple of reviews relating to Bob Marley and to one of many books about blacks, written by whites.

Most are by Michael Hoffmann https://www.amazon.com/gp/cdp/member-reviews/A2TB7A4L48Q6TH/ref=cm_cr_pr_auth_rev?ie=UTF8
Some are mine https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/cdp/member-reviews/A1IZWTVAQVJIFE/ref=ya__26?ie=UTF8

Jewish Slave Trade Adverts
Jews Selling Blacks - by Historical Research Department of the Nation of Islam

5.0 out of 5 stars Documentary evidence of the Judaic role in Black enslavement, May 26, 2011

The next time your teacher or professor commences a windy discourse concerning the evil nature of the White Christians who bought and sold Black slaves in the antebellum South, confront him or her with a copy of this shattering little book and observe as arrogant preconceptions and stereotypes are unsparingly destroyed, as they should be.
. . . ."Jews Selling Blacks" contains page after page of photocopies of authentic advertisements from 19th century American newspapers, placed by Judaic slave sellers and owners. This is the information you were never given. Emeritus Prof. of History Tony Martin relates how the Zionist students in his classes at Wellesley College were incredulous when he related accounts of the Judaic role in the Black slave trade. "We were never the oppressors!" was their indoctrinated, stock response. Sorry ladies, your parents and rabbis lied to you. Some of your ancestors were indeed slaveholders. But that inconvenient history was omitted from movies like "Glory" and Ken Burns' "Civil War" (Burns is one of the most devious agit-prop masters working today; he also "forgot" to report the Union's Elmira concentration camp for Confederate troops, known to its victims as "Helmira").
. . . .When will "Jews Selling Blacks" become a standard textbook in US college history classes? The cynic would say, when hell freezes over. But who knows? Strange things can happen to seemingly powerful despotisms. It's up to the younger generation to ask questions and confront the entrenched professorcracy with this incendiary book. Do it in front of the class. Your professor may flunk you as a result, but what fun you'll have until then! Revisionist history is an adventure -- pursue it, for therein lies the truth.
. . . .Also recommended: "The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews," volume 1 and volume 2.

Hoffman is the author of "They Were White and They Were Slaves: The Untold History of the Enslavement of Whites in Early America" a bold challenge to the myth of "white skin privilege."

Slave-dealing, and also Jewish Influence in Reconstruction, KKK, etc
The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews, Second Edition (Volume 2)
by Historical Research Department of the Nation of Islam

5.0 out of 5 stars A devastating revisionist history of the Jim Crow South, September 23, 2010

Connoisseurs of historical lacunae and passionate advocates of social justice and truth in history will find in these pages a treasure house of unprecedented revelation. I was astonished by its insights.
I have written an 8,000 word review for publication in "Revisionist History" newsletter. It will be enough to say here that a book that excavates so many hidden facts and so much suppressed data, is a boon to all lovers of knowledge for the sake of knowledge, whether or not one is a partisan of one side or another.
. . . .On the debit side, there are some intemperate and uncalled for denunciations of White people. The authors' parallels between Nazi Germany and the American South are forced. The narrative would have been enlivened by more anecdotes.
. . . .All of these criticisms aside, this is a work of overwhelming, indeed devastating marshaling of historical arcana that represents a long overdue correction of the record. "The Secret Relationship between Blacks and Jews, Part II," demonstrates that Judaics and Judaism strongly supported, in the Jim Crow South, White supremacy, including the Ku Klux Klan (!), and that the economic affairs of newly emancipated slaves were disadvantageously arranged and heavily exploited by Judaic entrepreneurs and financiers. Needless to say, this is a shocking and contrarian thesis. Skeptical readers of good will and an open mind will discover that the authors make their case with a type of exhaustive scholarship that slowly, page after weighty page, strangles the delusions and pretensions of the vain Zionist establishment, who have refused to take responsibility for the root of anti-Black racism in the sacred texts of Judaism, as found in the Midrash and Maimonides, and as perfected by Talmudists in Dixie, from Mayer Lehman (of those "respected" brothers), to Samuel Gompers, and shills for the Klan such as media mogul John S. Cohen and millionaire retailer Alex Singer.
. . . .I do not understand why Amazon.com is not distributing this book directly and why it is so under-publicized. "The Secret Relationship between Blacks and Jews, Part II," deserves a huge audience.

(Hoffman is the author of "Judaism Discovered: A Study of the Anti-Biblical Religion of Racism, Self-Worship, Superstition and Deceit").

Lehman Bros - Source of their Fortune
The Last of the Imperious Rich: Lehman Brothers, 1844-2008
by Peter Chapman

2.0 out of 5 stars Lehman fortune based on Black slave labor in Alabama, September 15, 2010

Mr. Chapman is a toady for this dynasty that was founded on the backs of Black slave labor in Alabama. Had Lehman's fortunes been based upon Nazi slave labor they would have had to pay millions in compensation. Where is the compensation for the descendants of the Black slaves the Lehmans exploited?
. . . .Chapman breezes through this iniquitous period in Lehman Brothers' history and, needless to say, makes no ethical case for compensation or reparation. This is the double standard that threads its way through American history when dealing with merchant prince-politicians like the Lehman clan (or is it "klan"?). Profits made from the holocaust against Blacks are not any substantive moral issue for historians like Mr. Chapman. Why is only one holocaust deserving of redress? How can Lehman Brothers be "highly respected" considering their origins and their failure to make monetary amends?

Religious - specifically Jewish - basis for black slavery
Noah's Curse: The Biblical Justification of American Slavery (Religion in America)
by Stephen R. Haynes

2.0 out of 5 stars There is no Biblical justification of black slavery - this book is a fraud, November 10, 2009

"Noah's Curse - The Midrash and Maimonides' Justification of American Slavery" --now that would be an accurate title for a book on the theme of sacred texts that support black chattel slavery in the U.S.
. . . .In the Biblical story of Noah, the Bible is absolutely color blind. It was the rabbinic texts that added a racial identification. No Biblical text does so.
. . . .The Southern "Christians" who validated black slavery on the alleged basis of the "Biblical account of Noah" were conversant with certain Protestants' esteem for Maimonides and rabbinic texts. This is how the contagion came to infect American Christianity.
. . . .Without rabbinic interpolation of the book of Genesis there would be no alleged "Biblical basis" for black slavery over any other kind. Only those Protestants who credited the rabbis and their exegesis could uphold the fraud that Ham was a black man.
. . . .Rabbi Moses Maimonides in his "Guide of the Perplexed," in the uncensored Shlomo Pines translation, decreed that Africans are sub-human -- midway between animals and humans.

This book is an exercize in misdirection.

Revisionism of a Civil War incident
River Run Red: The Fort Pillow Massacre in the American Civil War
by Andrew Ward

3.0 out of 5 stars Biased against Forrest but required reading nonetheless, October 4, 2007

I would not describe this work as a polemic. The author is sufficiently professional to have done his research and the raw data that he presents is worth the price of the book. Fans of Forrest can read between the lines of the author's bias. The information exculpating Forrest is presented, it's just that the author puts his own spin on it in some far-fetched ways that strain credulity. 500 black people showed up for Forrest's funeral. There is no proof whatsoever that they did so for any other reason than to show their respect. The author spins this into the remarkable explanation that they came to be certain he was dead! Forrest "fathered a black child." How do we know this allegation is true? Because no black person would lie about such a thing, since they would never volunteer for the ignominy of being known as a descendant of Forrest. There is plenty of laughable drivel like that in this book. The good news is that rare historical facts are also presented and winnowing the facts from the spin yields welcome new documentation and in some cases, ammunition on behalf of Forrest, a warrior of fantastic, archetypal prowess who ended his life a sincere Christian and spokesman for racial reconciliation. His conversion should be applauded rather than sneered at, but the vitriol of the victors has not dissipated with time.

No Woman No Cry: My Life With Bob Marley - by Rita Marley

A review from England!, December 8, 2010 By Rerevisionist
This is presumably aimed at black(ish) women. And the idea is to think how wonderful.
. . . .This was co-written by Hettie Jones, who apparently lives in Manhattan and seems to be a sort of professional black. It's impossible to tell how much of it is Rita Marley's own words.
. . . .The blurb says she was 'the mother of Bob's children' - a b/w photo shows eight of them, many by other women. This was after Marley's death in 1981 apparently by cancer after a toe injury - I have to say this sounds odd to me. His first recording 'One Cup of Coffee' was 1973; his total musical career was thus about eight years, much of it on the road. They started off selling and distributing their own records. I don't think they had much studio equipment. Thus for example Boney M's versions of No Woman No Cry are infinitely technically superior.
. . . .I *think* though this is hard to check that Marley appealed to the Jewish promotion industry - as with the NAACP (run by Jews) much of the promotion/ ad/ press. 'Four Hundred Years' fitted this. The actualities of deals and record promotion are missing from this book, as are the details about the 'Bob Marley Foundation' which she 'helps run' but the plain fact is advertising and legal stuff and collecting royalties and the rest is expensive. My guess is if he's written songs on (say) Che Guevara and revolution he'd never have become famous.
. . . .Much of the book is about Jamaica of course but I found it rather hard to make sense of. One moment the place seems full of gunslinging political killers murdering each other, with starving prostitutes and drug addicts dotted about; then there are respectable homes built admittedly in a shack style with tasty market food and happy people. ('.. one of the best houses around.. 18A Greenwich Park Road, Kingston').
. . . .Marley kept an open house - though this may not have been by choice, as various more or less shady types tended to turn up looking for shelter or help or money.
. . . .Let's hope Rita wasn't ripped off too much - Marley died intestate and there were internal dislikes in the Wailers. Because of the wonders of recording, there are endless possibilities for exploitation: think of Jim Reeves - whose voice was recorded without backing, so he could be reissued endlessly after death; Elvis Presley and his film entanglements. Marley probably makes more money dead than alive now but the whole of this sort of thing is left rather mysterious.
. . . .She apparently lives in Ghana in a house she bought, driving a BMW I think.

Cowan Bellarmino says:
Interesting review. Your thought on his promoters is probably correct. He was signed with Island records, run by Chris Blackwell (dubbed "Whiteworst" by Peter Tosh) of sephardic jewish heritage, and the heir of the Appleton Rum estate. I find that interesting because of the obvious connections with the slave trade that rum and sugar production entail, and the prevailing message of much of reggae music. Blackwell did promote Bob to become a solo act, steering him to cast off Bunny and Peter, although incremental fame probably had a lot to do with that separation as well. Subsequently, he formed Mango records which released much of Bunny's first solo productions - more slices of the pie. My own sense is that Bob was exploited, perhaps in some degree willingly, by this promotional network that was very adept at molding his earnest message of black redemption to fit its own global strategy. Of note is that toward the end of his life, he was finally able, after many attempts, to become baptized into the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. His earlier attempts at this were blocked by certain "Rastafarian" interests, who promised to cut his life short if he did that. A famous, international star becoming an Orthodox Christian would not only harm the promotion of Rasta (controlled by masonic and/or kabbalistic interests), it would also turn many of his fans onto something that was outside of the control system. This fact remains hidden to this day, and when the eventual Marley biopic is released, I'm sure it will be completely omitted.

Widely-promoted fake book
Black Like Me - by John Howard Griffin

Disappointing and obsessed with his own celebrity, December 5, 2010 By Donut (LA)
I bought the version with a a Foreward, a Preface, an Epilogue (1976), and other Epilogue (1979) and an Afterword (2006). All of this stuff-lauding Griffin as hero--is longer than the narrative of his experiment!! What a disappointment. The book is full of cliches, and Griffin strikes me (I'm white by the way) as self-important and self-obsessed. Why must he write about every detail of his press interviews and his newfound fame? There is more of this than anything else. He spent a little over 4 weeks as a Black Man (not much really) and aside from the obvious--he experienced racism--there isn't much that is particularly insighful or interesting. Just a lot of rehashing of stereotypes. His obsession with his own celebrity is dull and it makes me wonder about his motives.

1.0 out of 5 stars an Urban Legend of course. But I admire what the guy did, November 9, 2006
By steVando (Atlanta)

No such darkening procedure. It was a fictional tale that would reverberate in white people circles because, of course, it was written by one of them, i.e., a white guy. DOnt get me wrong. I admire him for how he contributed to Black American society and rights, but the secret is, that it was just a legend that had remarkable positive results. If you believed the tale, you are a SUKA!!!!

Re: Revisionism: Black History in USA

'Stonewall" Jackson, the famous Confederate soldier, was loved by blacks. There was some slave woman who wrote him a letter, or some other communication (black slaves, we are told, couldn't write, as couldn't a lot of whites back then) telling Jackson that her owner was old, or broke, or both, I forget which, and was going to sell her, and would Jackson please come to the auction an buy her.

There were Cherokee indians that had plantations and black slaves. This came to light in the news recently as the Cherokee have expelled their ex slave descendants from the tribe.

Mod's note Aug 2012:
In fact the Jewish part in the Atlantic slave trade (i.e. NOT the Islamic use of black Africans) was not revealed by Tony Martin.
Walter White Jr Who Brought the Slaves to America? (1968) is one of several sites hosting this piece by Walter White Jr.

A typical claim is: Columbus was accompanied by five 'maranos' (Jews who had foresworn their religion and supposedly became Catholics), Luis de Torres, interpreter, Marco, the surgeon, Bemal, the physician, Alonzo de la Calle and Gabriel Sanchez.

References include The International Jew by Henry Ford; Adventures of an African Slaver by Malcolm Cowley, 1928; and an order of the Hebrew Congregation in Newport, Rhode Island August 17, 1790.
