White candidates should be barred from standing for Parliament - says Labour report

By News Team February 10, 2008

White candidates should be barred from standing for Parliament in up to eight constituencies in order to get more black and Asian MPs elected, says a controversial report commissioned by Labour’s deputy leader, Harriet Harman.

Positive discrimination is illegal in the UK, but the report concludes that, without a change in the law allowing parties to impose all-black shortlists, it would take more than 75 years for Britain’s ethnic make-up to be fairly reflected at Westminster.

Harman is understood to be still considering the report’s findings in detail, but has expressed personal support for a change. However, Vaz is lobbying Harman for the measure to be included in a bill on equality issues later this year - meaning it could be on the statute book by 2009. ‘She is the person who has a huge history of supporting these issues,’ he added.

Woolley said that a change in the law could help the Tories by putting David Cameron’s A-List - a pool of candidates, many of them women or from ethnic minorities, singled out for the fast track to the irritation of some white men - on a firm legal footing.

  1. This should really be a non-issue! Why? Because to be the genuine article you MUST be white; non whites have absolutely no place in our parliament, nor to be living permanently on our soil! Come here for a holiday if you wish, and then go home - you all have a nice return flight now.

  2. There has occurred a shift in the complex weave of the fabric of the continuum. Many things are interlaced, in fact everything that can be, or is, are interlaced.

Things of old are moving freely towards us. PREPARE THYSELF.

  3. Another sign that some politicians are completely, barking mad.

If voters who happen to want to vote for a white candidate are not going to be allowed that privilege, why give them any choice at all?

Then in the constituency of, say, North Fuddleford voters wouldn't even need to need to vote because there would be only one candidate, carefully selected from an under-privileged minority. How about a disabled cannibal? Surely disabled cannibals are an under -privileged minority?

Will there be a requirement that in the rest of the constituencies, all the candidates must be white?

    No? Just asking.

  4. WELL WELL WELL. If labour does allow this. THEN SURELY they have to morally agree with BNP membership rules, which state members and political candidates must be WHITE. No longer can they slur the BNP as being racist in this aspect as Labour and the Conservatives will be even more racist by using positive discrimination to select their candidates. At least the BNP tells you what they are about. Unlike labour and the conservatives who would literaly sell every last one of our souls to Satan, if they thought they would get in.

  5. Whenever I see the name Harman, I think of toilet paper. Whenever I see the name Vaz, I think of what I have just wiped onto that toilet paper. Whenever I flush this excrement down the toilet, I think of what Britain has become under Nazi Labour - A TOILET!

If it means anything worthwhile, I could not vote for anyone who was not of my kindred. How a white indiginous citizen could vote for a non indiginous anything, is beyond me.

Are there really people out there who are so inept?

  6. Every time this sort of thing gets reported in the main-stream press we can add 1000 new voters for the BNP. People are waking up, all be it slowly, but there is definitely less stigma in voting BNP now.

  7. how terribly interesting……I thought members of parliment were there to conduct the affairs of the nation honestly and efficiently. To do this they must have both intelligence and integrity, so, harriot harmen, what has being black got to do with it ????

Please feel free to reply !!!!!!!!!

  8. It makes sense doesn't it? The more immigrants, legal or otherwise, the Labour Party can recruit, the wider their electoral base and therefore assure their encumbency at Number 10. A nightmarish thought but as Sean Lovell points out, the more this kind of news gets out into the public arena, the higher votes for the BNP will climb.

  9. Harman and Vaz are hideous scum.

The multicult has brought about insecurity and fear, yet they continue with it, just like they continue with their other evils that have brought this nations fabric and infrastructure to nigh ruin.

That is their aim. To humiliate and demoralise our people. To dismantle our country and replace it with hell on earth.

All the more reason for Native Britons to vote for the BNP.

  12. If the intention is for all candidates in the suggested 8 constituencies to be “black”, this would prejudice the BNP who have no black candidates and the party's constitution precludes such a possibility. Surely such a move would be tantamount to political gerrymandering and therfore illegal!

The voters in any such constituency would be deprived of voting for a BNP candidate and must surely affect someones human rights. Do you think the EU would come to the rescue or would the party ask their candidate to “black-up”? Shades of that marvelous show, for those of us old enough to remember, “The Black and White Minstrels”.

  13. It's only a matter of time before non-white candidates get their vote count boosted by +15%, as happens to non-white firefighters in exams in the US, or so I'm told.

who cares about democracy when you've got racism… and what is banning someone from a job based on their skin colour if it isn't racism?

  14. I hate to keep bringing this up, but once again we see ”immigrant origin” anti-whites promoting policies that have destroyed American life, being considered here. Surely we should get together under our ancient rights and treaties, and refuse to pay taxes for this type of ethnic cleansing in our own land.

Of course they are outnumberd, it is called statistics, there are still more whites than blacks so what does this stpid bitch expect. And as for who produced the report and their conclusion, no surprises there then!

  18. Why don't we just hand the country over to all the Blacks Asians Muslins and any body else that does not deserve to be in the country, then ship all us whites out to god knows where. I am just about sick of lunatics that think so called ethnic minorities can run our country. They come here in the first place because most of their countries are no place to live in because they are not run correctly.

  19. I watched keith Vaz last week as he introduced his private members Bill under the 10 minute rule.He sat amongst a small group who signed the motion who are funnily enough all foreign.

The plan is designed as I understood it to force all parties to have ethnic minorities only on the short list for elections.

    That included us.

Ever closer comes the day people when either the ballot box rules or we have to take back what is being removed.Namely our freedom and rights.

  20. “Positive discrimination is illegal in the UK”

Why is the BNP still calling it “positive” discrimination. The only sense that it can be called positive is in the sense that it's occurence is a fact of daily life in contemporary England. Our grandfathers who fought in the wars would be turning in their early graves if they knew just how utterly betrayed they've been. It is a betrayal that cannot go without retribution.

  21. Hardly a day seems to pass without some nonsense emanating from the mad house. This one really is absolute nonsense. At the very heart of our our democracy is the long held, and hard won rule that ANY citizen can stand for election to Parliament. The only criteria,as far as I am aware is to get nominated by ten electors and place a deposit. This suggestion is a disturbing attack on democracy which should be resisted with utmost force.

  23. These Labour idiots won't be satisfied until all their own rights and those of the rest of us, have been done away with. They won't be happy until all their masochistic fantasies come true. The hypocrisy of this discrimination against their own people, is simply breathtaking.

How dare they deny people's right to vote for whom they want? Candidtates should be chosen on merit, not because they're not white! How stupid does stupid get?

I recall Labour being wiped out in Gwent, following a similar diktat that imposed a women-only candidate list. Voters gave that very short shift indeed. Labour are as mad a hatters. They have lost all contact with reality. They are obsessed with pushing their ridiculous agenda of forcing Britain to be something it can never be, and was never meant to be. It's political vanity of the most dangerous and arrogant kind.

This is not governance, it's dogma. This isn't common sense, it's rampant schoolboy idealism.

ENOUGH. Go back to your junior debating society, and stop provoking the country into a seething mass of frustration and anger. If you can't see the warnings, you really do need your heads examined.

  28. And I do declare that no foreign prince, person, prelate, state or potentate hath or ought to have any jurisdiction, power, superiority, pre-eminence or authority, ecclesiastical or spiritual, within this realm. So help me God. ———

By Law as far as I can make out from reading through the 1689 Bill of Rights only English folk should be in Our Government and that it does not necessarily have to be based at Westminster.

As I pointed out in an earlier post a convention parliament was declared in the year 2005. However no one as yet has taken the matter seriously (or have they)!

There had been three Convention Governments prior to the 2005 declaration in 1399, 1660 and 1689.

The features which unite the four convention parliaments and which mandate their status as convention; are:

The recognition of the preceding parliamentary process as having come to an end of its powers in determining future parliamentary proceedings.

The implicit self-empowerment of parliamentary convention to act in place of the preceding process, thereby establishing its own legitimacy in determining the future of parliamentary proceedings.

  29. Simon Woolley, the apparent proposer of this legislation says in the article ‘It's not that we don't have Obamas, but we don't have the mechanisms for them to see the light of day.'

Of course ethnic minorities can already get involved in politics now if they really want to. Nothing prevented Dianne Abbot becoming an MP. Furthermore, there's no legal or cultural barriers stopping black people vote, yet curiously enough there is an campaign called “Operation Black Vote”. Hmmn. This bloke is basically proposing to pervert the course of democracy just to prove that ethnic minorities should be represented without merit (i.e. obtaining public consent in an election, or even if they don't have a strong inclination to enter every field of society. Still, at least most sane people can see through this nonsense.

  30. I trust white people will not be expected to pay taxes in the affected constituencies - after all: no taxation without representation! (As taught to us by the American revolutionaries.)

New Labour needs to stop shooting itself in the foot. All its feet are now thoughly riddled with holes and have long ago hoisted the white flag.

Of course this mad proposal isn't really going to happen. I mean, the arguments about who is or isn't black or Indian who take forever to start with.

Simon Woolley is unwise to compare the UK to the United States. In the United States, it's easier for ethnic minorities to get through, because different ethnic groups are clumped together. For white people in the US, it's easy to get away from non-whites…leaving huge groups of non-whites to vote for non-white candidates in their areas.

The most sensible and fair thing to do, is have proportional representation…oh but hold on…that will mean the BNP wins seats…damnn those working classes! The “solution” more immigration. That will learn em.

  48. My first posting, I think I've just about reached the end of my tether. I never viewed myself as being racist - and to be honest I still don't - but the more time goes on the more I see that we are losing more and more rights and slowly becoming the minority in our own country. It would appear that we can't say or do anything, or its classed as racist or predjudiced. The government bring in laws to protect ethnic minorities, give them more rights - but do nothing to protect the rights of white citizens. Our kids are thugs if they wear hoodies, but muslims can be covered from head to toe (even on passport photographs!!!!) and not have a word said against them. They have all of the opportunities handed to them on a plate, while our own people struggle to make ends meet and have to fight for social housing.

We are all treading on eggshells in our own country, while its being taken over from under our noses. It's time for this ludicris situation to be put to a stop.

I'm pleased to say I will be voting BNP in future, and will be encouraging my friends and family to do likewise.

Well, it's taken native Britons several thousand years to build up to the point where we had a democratic parliament in the first place, so 75 years doesn't seem to be that bad.

If they want to be elected to a democratic government, then I suggest they try standing in the enlightened democracy from whence they originated.

  60. Talk about a democracy… not. Is there anyone left for whom we, the British people, have actually voted? Not our prime minister, not our Cabinet of Privy Counsellors nor our lords, not our quango administrators, not our judiciary or magistracy, not our religious advisors, nor our lawmakers in the EU Politburo, not our local councillors nor our representatives in Parliament (if the vote frauds, lack of fairly apportioned MSM time and space and the tiny electoral turnouts are taken into account), not even a simple referendum of the EU. In what way are we a democracy and in what way do we have any say about what happens to us? Now this potential forceful removal of choice in whom we have to represent us is the last straw.

  65. Polly740. it will be put to a stop and soon. More and more people are openly talking about the fears that you express and there is no doubt that very very soon, politicians will have to take this rebellion into account when making policies. Like you I don't look on myself as racist but can see, as we all can, that non-indigenous people in the UK are treated differently, and get away with far more than those of us who have lived here for generations. Everyone is getting totally p####d off with the whole situation.

Let me tell you about something that has happened recently. I know an Asian gentleman who owed the local Council thousands of pounds in Council Tax arrears and they did nothing about it. No interest charges, just repeat bills which he ignored. I saw the bills myself. My mother-in- law, coming up to 80, was recently hospitalised for 2 months. On checking her mail we found a demand from the same council for £14 underpayment of her Council Tax. She had obviously paid a wrong amount at some time over the year and the action they were going to take was to send bailiffs to her house, along with the police, to either get payment or remove goods to the value of, and if that was unsuccessful, they were going to take her to Court!

One law for us, another for them!
