Siblet's Wood   For over 100 years residents of Chalfont St Peter and Gerrards Cross have taken pleasure walking through Siblet's Wood.   The Bluebell Wood
This delightful wood contains an abundance of wildlife and fauna, and every springtime bluebells are in abundance.   bird.gif   There are ancient footpaths through this wood, all identified on early maps, but now access is denied.

Walking in the wood
  Razor wire fenced woodland

Catherine and Ihab Debs (the new owners of wood), erected a six foot metal fence around the wood, and then attached RAZOR WIRE to the top and bottom of the fence!

Aerial photos reveal - trees cut down, bluebells destroyed to make way for a lake, and a road constructed from A40 to the wood.
Hundreds of local people, including local MPs, support the fight to regain access to Siblet's Wood
